What will I be doing?
- In the SMART study, we are testing the effectiveness of an app-based intervention for reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress. This app is called REPS.
- If you decide to participate in the study, and are eligible to do so, you will have the opportunity to complete a number of trainings on the REPS app.
- Throughout the study, you will be screened several times to assess what post-traumatic stress symptoms you may be experiencing. These screenings will be delivered through questionnaires in the REPS app.
Why should I participate?
- The chance to contribute to scientific knowledge that may eventually lead to a treatment for post-traumatic stress.
- Monetary compensation (see below).
Will I be paid?
- Participants who complete the entire study will be paid with $35 in Amazon eCodes.
- Participants who decide to withdraw from the study at any point will be paid according to what tasks they have completed thus far.
